Dr.Monica TineMedical Director
Dr. Monica Tine, our Medical Director, has been leading Juanita Hills Animal Hospital since 2014. Dr. Tine’s medical care plan is driven by doing what is best for the pet, and support treatment with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. With her leadership our hospital focuses on providing excellent care to every patient, dog or cat alike, that walks through our doors. Dr. Tine has extensive experience with preventive care, complex internal medicine cases, and advanced surgery, including orthopedics. She is an active member of the AVMA and WSVMA.
When away from the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Joel, and her daughter, Midori, who was born in 2018. Her family also includes a cat named Valor, who is Midori's best friend. She loves traveling and spending time with family and friends in Seattle, Connecticut and Japan. She also enjoys fine dining and visiting wineries throughout the Pacific Northwest, and would love to hear of any recommendations or experiences you may have to share.
Dr.Daiga RozensteineAssociate Veterinarian
Dr. Daiga Rozensteine has been with Juanita Hills Animal Hospital since August of 2018. Born in Latvia, she knew by age five that she wanted to devote her life to animals and by ten was determined to become a veterinarian. While working at an animal shelter called Dzivnieku Draugs in Latvia, she helped establish a charity hospital for stay animals and pets of low-income families. She’s a graduate of the Latvia University of Agriculture, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and obtained her Washington State Veterinary License in 2015. She has extensive experience in emergency care and general practice. She loves and feels deeply connected to each of her patients and strives to provide them with the highest quality care.
When away from her patients, she can be found hiking, traveling, cooking vegan food, and volunteering at Pasado’s Safe Haven. Dr. Rozensteine also shares her home with Bholu, a rescued dog from India.
Dr.Heidi MillerAssociate Veterinarian
Willow Sutherland, LVTHospital Manager, Area Resource Coordinator
Willow Sutherland, our Hospital Manager, joined the team in 2018. Willow is also a Licensed Veterinary Technician and has been in the field for over ten years. She has extensive experience working with companion animal, exotic animal, and large animal medicine, and is passionate about proving the best care to each patient that walks in. She works tirelessly every day to ensure all our patients are well cared for, all client concerns are addressed, and every staff member is supported. Willow also supports our sister hospitals in the greater Seattle region as the Area Resource Coordinator.
When away from helping care for the hospital’s patients, clients, and staff, Willow spends her time with her many special needs rescues (including cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs), her significant other, and her son, who she adopted in 2014. Willow has a special interest in veterinary dentistry, traveling, and baking.
Veronica Johnson, LVTAssistant Hospital Manager
Veronica, our Lead Veterinary Technician and Assistant Manager, joined the team in 2017. She brings a sense of humor, camaraderie and devout leadership to our hospital. She is our go-to person for most day to day things that help us take excellent care of your pet. She likes spending time with her energetic yellow lab/husky mix named Reigha. She also enjoys playing video games, watch movies and reading fantasy novels in her spare time.
Molly Vickery, LVT
Molly is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and joined our team in 2019. She has a deep sense of responsibility for our patients and is meticulous in how she cares for each one. She also enjoys reading fiction, playing video games, and spending time with her five cats and two Labradors, Ruger and Hersheyand.
Annika AbrahamsonVeterinary Assistant
Annika is a Veterinary Assistant who has been with us since 2018. She is a 2017 graduate of Washington State University. She has 2 cats, Milkshake and Mocha. Her hobbies include exploring the local culture and food, traveling, and long-distance running. She is currently working towards her goal of getting the best hands-on experience, available here at Juanita Hills Animal Hospital, and attending veterinary school.
Toya WelchVeterinary Assistant
Toya started at Juanita Hills Animal Hospital in 2019 as a Veterinary Assistant. She has been in the veterinary field for over five years and is currently attending veterinary technician school. She has two female cats, Bill and Gurl. Her hobbies include photography, hiking, finding new restaurants, and spending time with family. She is excited to give extra snuggles to every patient who comes in!
Erika BabbittVeterinary Assistant
Erika is a Veterinary Assistant who has been with us since 2019. She has two cats, Lil' Bundy and Gringo Mitones the White Pawed Outlaw. She enjoys seeing live music, listening to podcasts, finding new vegan restaurants and photography. She is currently working on her goal to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
Anna BrownCustomer Service Representative
Anna joined our team in 2019 as one of our Customer Service Representatives. She has two fancy goldfish at home, Nigel and Fancy. She likes to draw, read, and spend time with family and friends. She loves helping people and animals, and is ready to greet you with a smile!
Leah BreadloveCustomer Service Representative
Leah is a Customer Service Representative who joined our team in 2019. She has a Border Collie mix named Reggie and a Bearded Dragon named Pancake. She enjoys to cook, sing and play video games in her spare time. She aspires to bring excellent service to each and every client who enters our hospital.
Daniel PinntKennel Assistant
Dan is a Kennel Assistant and started at our clinic in 2018. He has two dogs named Nova and Mr. Finn. He is currently in school at the Lake Washington Institute of Technology to fulfill his dream of becoming a Medical Assistant in the human medical field. He likes to go hiking and spend time outdoors. He brings a broad sense of humor and tactical height advantage to our clinic.
Bliss FischerKennel Assistant
Bliss, our Kennel Assistant, joined the team in 2018. She loves animals and has two dogs and a cat of her own. She is currently a high school student and an active member of it’s Latin Club. In her free time, Bliss enjoys playing with her dogs, reading a good book, or baking something tasty.
Lisha is our wonderful groomer who started at our clinic in 2018. She has a Border Collie named Addy and an orange Tabby named Zeus. She is married and has a son, Luke, who loves animals as well. She likes to spend her time away outdoors at parks and beaches, with family. She brings a big smile to our clinic every day.
