Savjit S Gurm DVM
Dr. Gurm completed his DVM studies in 2006 from Washington State University, Pullman including an ECFVG internship and graduate work in Neurosciences. He offers a wide range of medical & surgical procedures and his special areas of interest are wellness care, geriatric care, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He is also accredited in stem-cell regenerative therapy for chronic degenerative conditions in pets (including but not limited to arthritis). He lives in Juanita neighborhood with his wife, daughter and Charlie.
Prior to founding JHAH, Dr. Gurm was leading Veterinarian of a team of 4 doctors at a busy practice in Everett, Washington as Medical Director. His clients also know him by Dr. Singh which is his middle name and follow him from Everett and other surrounding neighborhoods.
Dr. Gurm is an active member of American Veterinary medical Association (AVMA), Washington State Veterinary Medical Association (WSVMA) and Veterinary Information Network (VIN).
His priority is patient care and if needed his clients can reach him even at his cell phone after hours for consults & on-call services.

Ethan Cerenzia – Administrative Assistant
Ethan Cerenzia has loved being around animals for as long as he can remember, and began his career with animals near the end of his high school career. He was a volunteer at the Washington Ferret Rescue and Shelter in Kirkland Washington. From there, Ethan Began working at Eastside Avian and Exotic Animal Medical Center, where he gained experience with rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice birds, and more. He lives in the Juanita area of Kirkland, with his ferrets, birds and snake family members. He believes that companion animals bring happiness to our lives, and he enjoys working to make those animals happier and healthier. Along with working at front with you and your pets, he also takes responsibility in hospital’s administration work.

Shelby Hulbert – Client Service Coordinator
Shelby Hulbert is in her element among the pets and animals that come and go at Juanita Hills Animal Hospital. She can’t remember a time when she wasn’t surrounded by a menagerie of four legged friends which has included guinea pigs, hamsters, cats, dogs and horses. Her current housemates are two cats, a long haired Chihuahua, and most recently Ace, an Am-Staff terrier puppy. When Shelby isn’t assisting Dr. Gurm and the staff at JHAH you can find her studying for her college classes, trail riding or at the local dog park. Shelby is a strong believer in the therapeutic power of companion animals to transform human lives.

Rachel Syson – Licensed Veterinary Technician
Rachel has always had a deep love for animals. Becoming a Veterinary Technician has been her dream since she was a very young. She recently graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Pima Medical Institute and is so grateful to now be starting her career. She lives in Lake Stevens with her 3 cats, her Pit Bull Chloe, and her three legged Heeler Riley.

Alexis Connell – Veterinary Technician
Growing up with animals her whole life well prepared her for a life healing and caring for them. She was even called Elmira when she was little cause always wanted to love and care for her pets. Before she found that the Veterinary field was the path she wanted to take for her career she wanted to be on Broadway. She studied at American Musical and Dramatics Academy in New York City majoring in Musical Theatre for two years. She found herself homesick for the wonderful Washington state and missing the company of her furry family members. She currently has three dogs and four cats and has owned a horse in the recent past. Alexis went to PIMA to be a Veterinary Technician. And she lives in the Carnation area.

Celeste Williams – Veterinary Assistant
Celeste is a Veterinary Assistant and going to Pima Medical school, Seattle to get her accreditation as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is very excited to be in animal field and loves to help put the pets on ease during their doctor’s visit.
